Sample Collection for Sprite Study

Client identified within target population is connected with an outreach nurse or worker to initiate intake form completion, and informed consent. A thorough intake includes examination of sexual practices, lifestyle risk factors, and sexual health history.

Point-of-care Testing (POCT) is performed

Immediate treatment, connection to care, and counselling is provided, as required
-
Confirmatory serology for all tests is completed and sent to the Public Health Ontario Lab

Follow-up is initiated, as required
